He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruth Small and Darnley Small; his brother Darnley (Buddy); his mother-in-law Esther Rex Bronson; and his sister-in-law Cyndi Rex Ray.
He is survived by: his wife Pam Rex Small (Newcastle); and his sisters, Kay Smith (Cape Cod) and Paula Castagna (NY). He is also survived by 9 nieces and nephews, and 9 great-nieces and great-nephews.
