He was predeceased by: his parents, Juan Perez and Candelaria Perez; and his siblings, Teresa Martinez, Pedro Perez, Eduvina Samora, Alice Hernandez, Rosie Padilla, Johnny Perez and Henry Perez.
He is survived by: his wife Rosie Perez (Grijalva); his daughters, Laura Perez, Stephanie (David Mojica) and Cecilia Perez; his grandchildren, David Mojica III, Christopher Lopez Jr., Marissa Mojica, Bayley Lopez and Luke Mojica; and his siblings, Adeline Munoz and Loraine Romero. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
