We are sad to announce that, on September 8, 2025, at the age of 92, Bonnie Jean Garrett of Bakersfield, California passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Bonnie Jean Garrett to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ted Barber and Esther Barber (Kraft); her siblings, JoyAnn Steitz and Teddie Barber; and her daughter Benna Heimiller (Stimmel).
She is survived by: her daughter Ann Christine (Stimmel); her son-in-law Gordon Smith; her granddaughters, Kristi Ontiveros (Eric) and Daryth Litke (Jason); her great grandchildren, EJ, Mia, Elise, Brock, Tanner, Carson and Addyson; and her sister Gale Barber Busby. She is also survived by 5 great great grandchildren and numerous nieces and a nephew.
Donations can be made to the American Parkinson Disease Association in her memory, or stop and have an ice cream at Dewars, Peppermint Ice Milk of course.
