She was predeceased by: her husband Merle Genter; her son Mitchel Cary Genter; and her siblings, Angeles Jimenez, Claudio Vivero (Rosita), Ramon Garcia (Mary) and Juan Garcia.

She is survived by: her sons, John (Angela), Jim (Paula) and Mike (Kathie); her grandchildren, Brock, Aaron, Evan, Michael Jr., Kate, Brad and Amanda; and her sister-in-law Mary. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
