It is with sadness that the passing of Daniel Eugene Neve of Bakersfield, California is shared. Daniel, born on June 19, 1958 in Tulare, California, passed away on October 14, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Carmen Portillo Neve; his parents, Sallie Nuckols and Harold "Pete" Silvernail; his stepmother Carol Porter Silvernail; his brother Craig Neve; and his sisters-in-law, Melody Morris Neve and Debbie Williams Neve.
He is survived by: his children, Rebecca Hayden (Theo), Jacob Neve and Tadd Neve (Molly); his grandchildren, Autumn Bixby (Elijah), Ryan Neve (Klea Lika), Sean Neve, Adam Hayden, Jeremiah Hayden, Charlotte Neve, Abigail Hayden, Claire Neve, Timothy Hayden and Amelia Neve; and his siblings, Cheri Crook (Jim), Kim Felder (Brian), Dwayne Neve, Kevin Silvernail and Denise Douglas (Greg). He is also survived by 8 nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints (2400 N 11th Ave, Hanford, CA 93230). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
