He was predeceased by: his wife June Hardcastle; his parents, Dewey Hardcastle and Pearl Hardcastle; and his sister Rita Wegis. He is survived by: his daughter Melissa Lawrence; his son-in-law Guy Lawrence; his grandsons, Cameron and Matthew Lawrence; and his granddaughter-in-law Kaitlyn.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Greenlawn Funeral Home Southwest (2739 Panama Ln, Bakersfield, CA 93313). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A reception will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Tribute Center (2739 Panama Ln, Bakersfield, CA 93313).
