She was predeceased by: her parents, Dave Collins and Elizabeth Collins; her brothers, Bill Handley, Don Handley (Bub) and Cleo; her son Don (Bub); and her nephew Donald Wayne.
She is survived by: her husband Charles Ray Merritt (Chuck); and her children, Michael Merritt, Melanie Coleman and David Merritt. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and 7 great-great-grandchildren.
