With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elta Ernestine Hill of Bakersfield, California, born in Corning, Arkansas, who passed away on July 31, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Elta shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Elta farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Olen Ennis and Myrtle Ennis. She is survived by: her husband Clifton Hill; her sons, Gary and Bruce Summers; and her sister June Clark. She is also survived by four grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
