It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joann Gabeline Waters of Bakersfield, California, born in Yarmouth, Iowa, who passed away on April 26, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Dale Gabeline and Edna Weinrich Gabeline; her husband John Waters of Danville; and her siblings, Catherine, Evelyn, Roberta and Bob.
She is survived by: her children, John Waters (Laura) of Portland Oregon, Mark Waters of Bakersfield and Jana Kerber (Doug) of Bakersfield. She is also survived by five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
