She was predeceased by: her parents, Perry Savage and Lola Savage; her husband Bill Monroe; her daughter Kimberley (Herbert Jackson); and her grandson Joshua Jackson.

She is survived by: her son Joey Monroe (Marianne); and her grandchildren, Herbert Jackson, Matthew Monroe and Melissa Bailey.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the ASPCA, a cause that was close to Joyce's heart.
