With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lisa Kay Smith of Bakersfield, California, who passed away on June 26, 2025 at the age of 62. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She is survived by: her husband Mark Smith; her parent Sharon Edwards; her siblings, Doug Edwards, Jeff Edwards (Sandy) and Denise Barba; her children, Chad Smith (Tesa) and Brooke Tackett (Mitchell); and her grandchildren, Carter, Cayson, Connor, Brett and Blair.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Lauren Small Children's Medical Center at Bakersfield Memorial Hospital in Lisa's honor.
