She was predeceased by: her children, Yvonne Cortez and Joe Angel Cortez; her former husband Jose Cruz Cortez; her mother Pauline Chavez; and her siblings, Rachel Gonzalez and Bernie Baca.
She is survived by: her daughter Elizabeth Thomasson; her stepson Johnny Cortez; and her grandchildren, Selina Sifuentes, Erica Nevarez, Lillian Cortez, Michael Gonzalez, Johnny Gonzalez, Jessie Gonzalez and Jimmy Thomasson Jr.. She is also survived by many extended family members and dear friends.
