She was predeceased by: her parents, Castulo Martinez and Micaela Martinez; and her son Joe. She is survived by: her spouse Guadalupe Garcia; her children, Carlos, Stella Ogborn, Rosa (Melesio Cortez), Mary (Bobby Stratton), Anna (Henry Uranday), Sylvia (Eric Smith), Norma McKee and Raul (Angela Garcia); her daughters-in-law, Yvonne Garcia and Cindy Garcia; her grandsons, Jay Campos, Rodrigo Cortez, Jose Garcia, Nick Garcia, Paul Garcia, Timothy Garcia, Michael Rodriguez, Santos Smith, Brent Stratton, Andy Valenzuela and Matthew Unruh; Mina, Arial, Tabitha and Dannika. She is also survived by 41 grandchildren, 62 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
