She was predeceased by: her parents, Crispin Fernandez and Maria Ramirez; and her husband Felix Lesaca. She is survived by: her sons, Javier (Benita) and Felix (Theresa); her grandchildren, Amaia (Ryan), Dominic (Alayna), Alex (Jacqueline) and Max; her great grandchild Nora; and her siblings, Pedro (Nieves) and Carmen (Ricardo). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A rosary will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the St. Philip the Apostle Church (7100 Stockdale Hwy, Bakersfield, CA 93309). A Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Kern County Basque Club Scholarship Fund in Maria's memory.
