With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Marlene Joan Cannon (Bakersfield, California), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Marlene left this world on November 23, 2025 at the age of 91, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Ginnelli and Lena Ginnelli; her siblings, Albert (Betty Ginnelli) and Shirley (Victor Moccardini); and her son-in-law James Swank.
She is survived by: her children, David Cannon and Lisa Swank; and her grandsons, Nicholas Barker (Macalla), Gregory Barker (Alyssa) and Tyler Swank (Haleigh). She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren.
A memorial service was held on Sunday, November 30th 2025 at the Greenlawn Memorial Park Northeast (3700 River Blvd, Bakersfield, CA 93305). A graveside service was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Greenlawn Memorial Park Southwest (2739 Panama Ln, Bakersfield, CA 93313, USA).
