We are sad to announce that, on October 19, 2024, at the age of 93, Mary Ann Smith (Bakersfield, California) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert C. Tonkery and Stella Mildred Tonkery; her son-in-law Robert Lane; her great grandchild Addison Donnelly; and her siblings, Robert E. Tonkery and Catherine Little.

She is survived by: her spouse Ira Lloyd Smith, Jr.; her brother William Tonkery (Bill); her brother-in-law Thomas Little; and her daughters, Loi (Mark Nichols), Cheryl Lane, Cynthia (Brett Lackey) and Stephanie (Rob Fout). She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and her many nieces and nephews.
