She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruby Dorman and Norval Dorman; and her son Brian James. She is survived by: her brother Rodney Dorman; her husband Don Josephsen; her sons, Don Paul and David Trapp; her daughter-in-law Alexis; her daughter Julia Young; her son-in-law Taylor; her daughter Nancy Stoller; her son-in-law Craig; her brother Roger; and her grandchildren, Joshua, TeAnna, Matthew, Kathleen, Maya, Gianna, Ella and Armana. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren; and beloved pets.

She also helped to found the Bakersfield Aids Foundation.
