In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Peggy leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Peggy may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her husband Wayne Barksdale; her parents, Margaret Coleman and Glen Coleman; her sister Norma Carpenter; and her grandson Chad Meyer.
She is survived by: her children, Diana Meyer (Greg), Todd Barksdale (Clare), Lisa Anspach (John) and Jill Jefferson (Bob); and her close friend Bonita. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A rosary will be held on Friday, November 21st 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Christ the King Catholic Church (1800 Bedford Way, Bakersfield, CA 93308). A Mass will be held on Friday, November 21st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
