It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Phillip Ray Rosson (Bakersfield, California), who passed away on July 6, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Phillip Ray shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Phillip Ray farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Alice Acquilin; his daughter Michelle (Robert Phipps); his grandsons, Randy and Ryan Phipps; his brothers, Larry and Jimmy Ed; his former spouse William "Bill" Carr; and also, Steve, Rick and Ron.
A memorial service was held on Sunday, July 13th 2025 at the Greenlawn Memorial Park Northeast (3700 River Blvd, Bakersfield, CA 93305).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to readers' own favorite charities, the Bakersfield College Foundation, the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) and the Wounded Warrior Project.
