She is survived by: her husband Dr. Arvind Shah; her daughters, Seema Shah, Mona Yen and Hansa Kaipa; her sons-in-law, Morris Yen and Sami Kaipa; and her grandchildren, Akash, Mia, Nina, Arjun, Syndey, Kashi, Ishan and Omi.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Hindu Temple of Kern County or the Chinmaya Mission of Bakersfield in her memory.
