He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Lupe; his parents, Pablo Garza and Ricarda Garza; and his children, Ray Jr. Garza, Gilbert Garza, Elisa Rubio, Ernest Garza and Isabel Melendez. He was also cherished by sixteen siblings.
