With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard D. McCuan (Bakersfield, California), who passed away on April 19, 2026 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie McCuan and Gladys McCuan; his siblings, Ouida Bayird, Francis Powell, Linda Stubblefield, Gene McCuan, Jack McCuan and Joe McCuan; his son Randy McCuan; and his sister-in-law Helen Laughlin.
He is survived by: his wife Evelyn; his siblings, Sue Stubblefield, Janette Breeding and Bobby McCuan; his children, Skip McCuan, Ann Tripp, Charlotte, Cary Atkinson and Dustin McCuan; his granddaughters, Christina Olvera and Gina; Samantha Atkinson, Jennifer Atkinson, Brad McCuan, Ryan McCuan, Jessica McCuan, Matthew McCuan, Rob Byron, Krystal Beede and Randon McCan. He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 15th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Greenlawn Funeral Home and Cemetery Northeast (3700 River Blvd, Bakersfield, CA 93305). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 16th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, May 16th 2026 at 12:30 PM at the Hillcrest Memorial Park (9101 Kern Canyon Rd, Bakersfield, CA 93313).
