It is with sadness that the passing of Rita Jo Johnson (Bakersfield, California) is shared. Rita, born on July 20, 1945 in Hillsboro, Kansas, passed away on October 1, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Woody Beltz and JoHanna Beltz; and her siblings, John and Bette Lee. She is survived by: her husband Kenneth Johnson; her grandchildren, Tanner, Jett, Kinley Johnson, Micah and Lucy Lee; Jennifer Johnson of Bakersfield, Jay of Bakersfield, Jill and Adam Lee of Madera Ranchos.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Heritage Bible Church (2323 Mount Vernon Ave, Bakersfield, CA 93306).
