He was predeceased by: his wife Shirley Hooker; and his children, Stacie Hooker, Devin Hooker and Shawncie Frieson. He is survived by: his children, Russell Hooker (Lori), Deanna Goodeill (Bill) and Terri Hooker. He is also survived by his 10 grandkids and 8 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers the family is asking for donations to be sent in memory of Roy to First Assembly of God Church in Bristol, Tennessee.
