He is survived by: his father Samuel "Rudy" Rudolph Ortiz of Bakersfield; his brother Eddie; his wife Chinta Ortiz; his children, Chris Ortiz (Denise), Monica Newberry (Bob), Tim Ortiz (Laura), Jennifer Cruz (Victor), Jessica, Brennan, Andrew, Danielle, Stephanie (Jeffrey), Austin, Devan, Cameron, Lexi, Lauren and Cassie; and his siblings, Richard of Remey, Julian and Alice. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
