Troy Choate Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Troy Choate of Bakersfield, California, born in Marlow, Oklahoma, who passed away on January 5, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar F. Choate and Goldie Mae Choate (Worley); his son Chris Choate; his brother Coy Choate; and his great grandchild Cyrus Choate.

He is survived by: his wife Joan L. Choate; his sons, Randy Choate (Vicki) of Salmon, ID and Greg Choate (Paula) of Marlow; his grandchildren, Rachelle Worley, Chad Choate, Casey Choate, Reis Choate, Austin Choate, Erica Cox and Aimee Davis; his sister Pat Mealey of Bakersfield, CA.; and his daughter-in-law Carolyn Choate. He is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great-grandchildren.
