Vera Lee Casanova Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 25, 2025, at the age of 92, Vera Lee Casanova in Bakersfield, California, born in Piggott, Arkansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Vera's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Vera has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hughie Harper and Ruth Schnell; and her husband Carl Casanova. She is survived by: her son Roy; her daughter-in-law Chris Knight; her granddaughters, April Anderson (Chris) and Ruthie Trino (Vince); and her great grandchild Matthew Anderson (Alyssa). She is also survived by extended family members and many dear friends.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Stockdale Country Club (7001 Stockdale Hwy, Bakersfield, CA 93309).
