It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia Mae Tisinger (Bakersfield, California), born in Hollywood, California, who passed away on October 26, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Allen and Marjorie Allen; her significant other Leland Tisinger; her daughter Darene Vanderhoek; and her brother George Allen.

She is survived by: her children, Deborah Cohn (Charles), Derek Leland Tisinger (Kathy) and Douglas Allen Tisinger (Lori); her grandchildren, Derek Leland Tisinger II (Amber), Cassandra Cohn, Colten Tisinger (Jami), Nicolas Tisinger (Lauren), Ryan Tisinger (Kate), Joshua Crowder, Alexander Tisinger and Olivia Hughes (Dylan); her great grandchildren, Madison, Zachary, Kash, Jase, Blaire, Beckham, Cruz and Ronin Tisinger; and her sister Jo Anne Lee Curtis. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
