She was predeceased by: her parents, Carmen Rendon Hernandez and Luis Perez Hernandez; her husband Humberto "Chumbe" Benavidez; and her son Alex Benavidez. She is survived by: her children, Humberto "Reno" Benavidez, Rodger "Chiky" Benavidez (Lisa) and Maria "Magda" Benavidez Pierce. She is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren, as well as extended family.
