It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Angelo Leivas (Banning, California), who passed away on August 15, 2025, at the age of 20, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his mother Rosalie Romero; his sister Summer Leivas; his aunts and uncles, Sacheen Leivas, Marlena Gastleum, Damen "Bones" Leivas and Gabriel Leivas; his grandparents, Judy Leivas and Dennis Basquez; his cousins, Joe "Rabbit" Nungaray, Eva Leivas, Ella Leivas, Ezra Leivas, Roman Diaz, Ricky Diaz and Kwisaa Diaz; his close friend David "Bam" Ward; his father Manuel C. Leivas; his grandparents, Manuel T. Leivas, Elmeda Esquerra and David "Ace" Romero; his great-grandparents, John and Sara Leivas; and his cousin Wally. He is also survived by many other aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
