“Dear Norma: Please accept our most sincere condolences on the loss of your wonderful husband. What a great guy. I met Boyd in Santa Ana, CA as a newly minted postal inspector the end of 1971. He was not what I expected after spending 3 months with the stuffed shirts in Bethesda, MD. He was his own kind of guy. A great sense of humor, honest work ethic, and a wonderful mentor. Life, relocations and such put distance between the people you respect and care for. Tom and Colleen Taylor”

“Sending my condolences and sympathies. I have plenty of memories of working a case in Louisville KY with Boyd in Early 90"s. A very protracted investigation. Also, in LA. we happened on a filming of TV show for "Columbo". Boyd had the chance let "Colmbo" know that he, Boyd, had been told he reminded people of the star. Yep, Boyd was not a very Bashful guy. He will be missed.”
