He was loved and cherished by many people including: his daughters, Raquel Martin and Kaylah Hayes; his siblings, James Edward Byars Jr. and Samantha Byars; his siblings' children, Chynnah, Monet Flowers, Maurice "Taco" Campbell Jr., Malique "Chunk" Campbell and Joseph "JoJo" Campbell; his aunts and uncles, Yvonne, Yvette, Annette, Isabel Leyva, Evangelina Elizondo Andrade, Edward Leyva Sr. and David Elizondo; his wife Mia Andrade; his mother Olga Byars; his sister Ramona Byars; his grandmothers, Ramona Lara and Alice Campos; his aunts and uncles, Otilia Lara, Ronette Saubel Elizondo, Oswaldo "Ozzie" Elizondo and Leroy Lara; and his cousins, Lisa Lara, Natasha Lesh and Gary Lyons. He was also cherished by cousins, great-nieces, and great-nephews, as well as numerous more family members and friends.
