We are sad to announce that on November 11, 2023, at the age of 100, Leah A. Richards of Barstow, California, born in Howard, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Carey Stricker and Olivia Stricker (Baker); her sister Elda; her brother-in-law Til Davidson; her sister Rita Stricker Lee; and her great-niece Lori Clipse Borman.

She is survived by : her brother Roger; her sister-in-law Ann Stricker of Murietta, California; her caregivers, Roger Marra and Vickie Marra; her niece Jody Stricker McKay of Menifee, California; her great-nephew Joe Clipse (Charlene) of Okotie; her close friends, Helen Witschi, Marsha Kelso and Diana Wiggins; and her pet Abby.

In lieu of flowers, and to honor Leah's love and care of dogs, the family asks that you consider donations to the Mount Vernon Animal Shelter, 285 Columbus Rd., Mount Vernon, Ohio 43050.
