He was predeceased by: his parents, Baldomero Reyes and Amelia Reyes. He is survived by: his wife Criselda Reyes; his siblings, Julieta Reyes, Perla Sanez, Amelita Robles and Luchi Resurreccion; his daughters, Amelia Reyes and Nina Reyes; his granddaughters, Amina Phal and Elena Nguyen; his great grandchild Elijah Phal; and his stepchildren, Angel Anido, George Cabunag, Gippy Cabunag, Katrina Cabunag and Gilbert Cabunag. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

His contributions to WMATA projects were honored with awards throughout his tenure.
