She is survived by : her husband Bruce; her children, Benjamin Peters (Jennah Healey), Holly Lewis (Justin Lewis) and Kyle Peters (Jessica Guerin); her cousin Hilary Jackson; her siblings, Michael MoGrail and Bridget Smith; and her mother Sheila MoGrail-King.

In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the Solano County Animal Shelter in Melissa's name.
