He was predeceased by: his parents, Aurelio Felix and Lidia Lopez Felix; his brothers, Tony and Carlos; and his son Alberto Felix.

He is survived by: his children, Jose Aurelio Felix, Rosalva Felix and Gabriela Felix; his grandchildren, Anthony, Alyssa, Alex, Vanessa, Andrew, Nico, Marlena, Justine and Victoria; and his siblings, Eduardo, Gloria, Francisco, Maria and Ruben. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
