She was predeceased by: her husband Leland Ross Coats; her children, Lawrence Harvey and Wendy Coats; her grandchild Greyson Benstead; and her siblings, Almer, John Henry of Sammy Joe, J. D., Juanita, Jessie, Grace and Noretta.
She is survived by: her children, William E. Coats, Sandra H. Crochetiere, Beckie G. Hollingshed and Wanda J. Hammock; and her sister Mary Paul. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchildren.
