He is survived by: his mother Linda Sue VanHook (George); his brothers, Thomas Richard VanHook (Ambie) and Kevin Dwayne VanHook; his nephews, Blake VanHook, Jonathan Richard VanHook and Jason Cooper VanHook; and his extended family, Isabel Verduzco (Robert), Susana Cavazos (Heriberto) and Maria De Lourdes Sonner (Earl II).
