He is survived by: his wife Maria Corrall; his siblings, Raul (Esther Duarte), George (Ruth Duarte), Arthur (Karla Duarte) of Brawley, Lina Duarte of Brawley, Sandra (Ruben Perez) and Susan (Joe Lucio); and his sisters-in-law, Obdulia Duarte of Brawley, Conchita Duarte of Brawley, Lydia Duarte of Brawley, Phyllis Duarte of Mountain View, CA and Sandy Duarte of Seattle, WA.

A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (402 S Imperial Ave, Brawley, CA 92227). A burial will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Riverview Cemetery (4700 Hovley Rd, Brawley, CA 92227).
