He is survived by: his wife Cobina Castelan; his children, Edward Wilkerson Jr. (Cyndi), Kathleen McQuaid (Mike) and Laura Kimball (Glenn); his siblings, Jean Haslett, Barbara Sykes and Gerald Wilkerson; his grandchildren, Patrick Christian, Megan Christian, Tanner Wilkerson, Keaton Wilkerson, Cooper Wilkerson, Rachel Kimball, Rebecca Kimball and Abigail Kimball; and his great grandchildren, Conner Christian, Grayson Madu-Jules, Landon Madu-Jules and Paloma Wilkerson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
