Gloria Catherine (Goble) Ducote Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gloria Catherine Ducote (Burbank, California), who passed away on January 6, 2021 at the age of 87. Gloria was born and raised in San Diego. She was a graduate of Rosary High and then went to work at North Island Naval Station as a typist. She met and married James P. Ducote, of the US Navy, and they resided in El Cajon with their 4 children. A loving mother, wife, sister and friend. She enjoyed gardening and sewing and loved movies worked, dancing and singing. She worked at Fireman Fund in San Diego for many years until she retired. She and Jim then traveled extensively until his death. She then moved to Little Flower Haven in La Mesa until they closed. She was preceded in death by two children. The last 5 years of her life were spent at Evergreen Retirement in Burbank, close to a daughter.
