He was predeceased by: his father Antonio Vargas Polo; his stepson Danny Romero; and his brothers, Antonio "Tony" Polo and Martin Polo. He is survived by: his mother Eugenia Orta Polo; his children, Darlene Beckner and Alex Polo; his stepchildren, Stevie Romero and Bobby Romero; his sister Martha Polo Ortega; his grandchildren, Dalana Gallegos, Jolene Arreola, Mariah Polo and Matthew Beckner of Joshua Beckner; and his great grandchildren, Jade Gallegos and Christian Dong (Chrissy).
