We announce the death of Edward Fredrick Mutz of Camarillo, California, who passed away on September 10, 2026, at the age of 94. Edward will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Frank Mutz and Frieda Alma Mutz (Weichelt); his siblings, Rita, Genevieve (Vance), Clara (Cullen) and Walter; his wife Mary; and his son Steven.
He is survived by: his son Gary Mutz of Longmont, CO; his daughter-in-law Linda; his grandchildren, Keith (Kalene), Corrie (John Heap), Kassidy and Hannah; his daughter Lisa McKinley of Arroyo Grande, CA; his child-in-law Kelly; his granddaughter Rebecca; and his son Ryan.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Los Osos Valley Mortuary (2260 Los Osos Valley Rd, Los Osos, CA 93402). A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 12:30 PM. A memorial gathering will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM at the Madonna Inn's North Round Room.
