He was predeceased by: his wife Hazel S. Knudsen; his children, Kenneth Michael and Karla Michele; and his great grandchild Kade Palmer Sigmund. He is survived by: his children, Debra Diane Birch, Tamara Lyn (Kevin Endicott), Karin Ann (Wayne Hotchkiss), Kristina Carole (Richard Reid) and Mark Richard (Diane Knudsen). He is also survived by 23 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren.
