She was predeceased by: her husband Shiro Kita; and her brothers, Satoru, Kiyogi and Roy Ohara. She is survived by: her children, Duane Kita (Lyn) and Connie Smith (Jim); and her sisters, Himeko Mimura, Yuriko Scranton and Hideko Baker. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
