Gladys Clayson Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 10, 2025, at the age of 92, Gladys Clayson in Camino, California, born in Provo, Utah passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Gladys may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Gladys touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Carl Peirre Martineau and Gladys Gonzalez Martineau; and her children, Linda Cook (Clayton), Sara Garcia (Tommy), David Clayson, Steven Clayson (Nancy), Mathew Clayson (Lori), Jana Hedman, Dawes (Dylan) and Mitchell Clayson. She was also cherished by 24 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (4621 Pony Express Trail, Camino, CA 95709).
