She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Bruce "Bruce" of Maine; and her son Mitchell Ray Shands Jr.. She is survived by: her stepson Mark (Shauna) of Maine; her stepgrandchildren, Matthew (Sarah) of Maine and Christina (Carla Vargas) of Maine; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Opal, Clark of Maine and Emma of Maine; her nephew Anthony Nyland; and her niece Helen Conway.
