William Stuart McMillan Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Stuart McMillan of Carlsbad, California, who passed away on May 18, 2025 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Lieutenant Colonel William W. McMillan, Jr. and Mary Beth Morgan (Van Scoyoc); his sister Karen May McMillan; his aunts and uncles, Faith Van Scoyoc (Schmidt), Jerome "Jerry" Normann, Clara Mae Szumetz (McMillan), Eugene Szumetz, Nancy Van Scoyoc (Kerns) and Gardner Van Scoyoc; and his cousins, Julie Ann Szumetz, Traci Lyn Spickler (Szumetz) and Charles "Chuck" Van Scoyoc.

He is survived by: his brother Matthew McMillan; his stepfather J. Mark Morgan; his stepsisters, Georgia Morgan and Amanda Meyer (Glenn); his cousin Marshall Szumetz (Tara); his uncle Stuart Van Scoyoc (Dotty); his aunt Leah May Normann (Van Scoyoc); and his cousins, Peter Van Scoyoc (Marilyn), Kirk Van Scoyoc (Gretchen), David Van Scoyoc (Carmen), Cynthia Normann Kreyling (James), David Normann (Lori), Brian Normann (MaryJo), Laura Van Scoyoc and Wayne Van Scoyoc.
