She was predeceased by: the father of her children John "Jack" Andrew Engle; her children, Gerald Andrew Engle and Marianne Whitmore; and her sister Paulina Simms. She is survived by: her children, Patrick Engle (Karen), Charles Engle (Debora), Edward Engle (Mary), Michael Engle, Donald Engle and Maureen James (Douglas). She is also survived by her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
