She was predeceased by: her parents, Abel and Mary; her husband Johnny Cardoza Sr.; her grandson Johnny "Joseph" Cardoza III; and her siblings, Clementine "Clemmy", Clement "Bud" and Elise "Laverne" Silva.
She is survived by: her children, Johnny Jr. (Susan), Anthony (Donna), Stephen (Gerrie), Paul Cardoza (Agnes) and Mary Golden Placido (Manuel). She is also survived by 22 grandchildren (9 grand in-laws), 33 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
If you are interested in donating in Joan's memory, her wishes were for it to be given to the children's Vacation Bible School at Our Lady of the Assumption.
